A super stylish Christmas sewing pattern from Fabric Editions for these great looking storage boxes or gift boxes. Measuring approx 19cm by 19cm these boxes are a good usable size and the instructions could easily be amended to create larger boxes.

Supplies Required

  • 4 x cotton fat quarters
  • 1 x meter coordinating cotton fabric
  • 2 x metres fusible batting
  • 1 x metre medium weight fusible interfacing
  • Coordinating thread
  • basic sewing supplies & equipment

Instructions

This pattern uses Christmas themed fabric but these could easily be switch for other seasonal prints.

A great intermediate level quilt here courtesy of Camelot fabrics in the US & designed by Christa Watson of Christa Quilts. This pattern uses multiple different prints & cuts to create an effective herringbone design. The herringbone finish is made up of 120 half square triangles meaning this sewing pattern does include a fair amount of cutting and sewing but the resulting quilt is very efective. Finished quilt size is approximately 63" x 73".
