Herringbone Quilt Pattern With A Toy Story Theme

Posted To Guides By Camelot FabricsSaturday, 28th July 2018
A great intermediate level quilt here courtesy of Camelot fabrics in the US & designed by Christa Watson of Christa Quilts. This pattern uses multiple different prints & cuts to create an effective herringbone design. The herringbone finish is made up of 120 half square triangles meaning this sewing pattern does include a fair amount of cutting and sewing but the resulting quilt is very efective. Finished quilt size is approximately 63" x 73".

Supplies Required

  • 1/2 yard printed cotton fabric, print 1 (herringbone bar)
  • 1/2 Yard Printed Cotton Fabric, Print 2 (herringbone bar)
  • 1/2 Yard Printed Cotton Fabric, Print 3 (herringbone bar)
  • 1/2 Yard Printed Cotton Fabric, Print 4 (herringbone bar)
  • 1/2 Yard Printed Cotton Fabric, Print 5 (herringbone bar)
  • 1/2 yard textured cotton fabric (thin border)
  • 2 1/2 yard light / white cotton fabric (contrasting herringbone)
  • 1 1/4 yard printed cotton fabric, print 6 (thick border)
  • 4 yard textured / patterned cotton fabric (backing)
  • 2 yards extra wide (76") batting
