Sew A Full Sized Batik Quilt

A really effective & stylish quilt pattern here from our friends over at Fabric Editions. With a relatively simple block based construction this design should be classed as beginner to intermediate level. Be sure to read the instructions fully before you start, (finished item dimensions approx 48" x 60").

A great intermediate level quilt here courtesy of Camelot fabrics in the US & designed by Christa Watson of Christa Quilts. This pattern uses multiple different prints & cuts to create an effective herringbone design. The herringbone finish is made up of 120 half square triangles meaning this sewing pattern does include a fair amount of cutting and sewing but the resulting quilt is very efective. Finished quilt size is approximately 63" x 73".

The design is for a small pouffe (or pouf if you're joining us from the US), this is a great project if you have a spare full sized jelly roll you are looking to use up. There is a fair amount of sewing required in the design so the use of a sewing machine is very much advisable. We would class this as an intermediate level project. Finished pouffe measures approx 14" x 16".

Great looking and super functional these small hang-able storage pods / bags are a great way to tidy a room. Using only the most basic sewing supplies, a couple of fats quarters and some batting these are very simple to put together and easily customised using different fabric designs.
