Instructions

The finished item shown above has been made using the city fat quarter collection from fabric editions. This can just as easily be adapted to use any 2 standard US sized fabric bundles (total 10 fat quarters), a short run of plain solid cotton fabric and a few haberdashery accessories.

This project has lots of cutting and sewing but overall is a relatively straight forward patchwork project.

herringbone quilt pattern with a toy story theme
Sat, 28th July 2018

A great intermediate level quilt here courtesy of Camelot fabrics in the US & designed by Christa Watson of Christa Quilts. This pattern uses multiple different prints & cuts to create an effective herringbone design. The herringbone finish is made up of 120 half square triangles meaning this sewing pattern does include a fair amount of cutting and sewing but the resulting quilt is very efective. Finished quilt size is approximately 63" x 73".
