Can you please advise if the green glitter 1 inch velvet ribbon would be suitable for the straps on a dress.
This is a difficult question but I will try to answer it in general terms.
The 25mm glitter ribbon is certainly strong enough to be used as dress straps and given the right hem finish to the ends will sew equally well.
I think the main downside would be that it may cause issues with comfort as the glitter element is quite rough to the touch (imagine very finely cut tinsel) which I imagine could become itchy over time.
Is this ribbon elastic / stretchy?
